I’m Mich. Thanks for dropping by.

As this is blog number one, I’ll give you a little bit of background on how I came to be a part of Pomegranate Concepts.

Flick and I met while she was working in a tourism marketing position and I was working as a consultant organising events and tourism publications for local government in Gippsland. Realising we both had a passion for tourism, arts and hospitality and skills to complement each other, thinking that two heads wer better than one, we decided to collaborate and Pomegranate Concepts was born over a couple of glasses of red.

A little bit on what to expect from me…

I have a background in Public Relations, Design and Events so my blogs will float between these three areas, depending on what I am working on.

I really dislike technical jargon, managerial weasel words and indecipherable acronyms so you won’t find any of those here, although, I can be prone to tangents so slap my hand if I write anything that makes your mind completely boggle.

Quirky, curious, fun graphic design, public relations and event management are my passion, but if you are in business function and strategy are arguably more important. I’d like to think I can offer you a little of both in my work and my blogs.

At the moment I am designing a collection of promotional lifestyle books for print and online, designing internal e -newsletters, and producing a corporate branding and style guide and designing a wine brand for a new Heathcote Shiraz.

My next blog will be about ‘press release grader’ an online tool for professionals and beginners helping you to optimize your chances of gaining media coverage for your business, event or idea.
